Become a Junior Naturalist

Junior Naturalist Club meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 1:00 pm. Each excursion lets club members investigate a unique local ecosystem, animal, or natural feature.

The Junior Naturalist Club promotes discovery & enjoyment of the natural world, encourages curiosity & exploration, and prepares participants to be lifelong stewards of and advocates for nature in a manner developmentally appropriate for participants in grades 3-5. As such, Junior Naturalists excursions will focus on developing awareness of and appreciation for nature and prepare members for participation in the Junior Conservationist Club.

The price of the Junior Naturalist Club is $120 per year. This price includes 9 club excursions and FREE admission to three additional member events in June, July, & August for every Junior Naturalist and their families.

Members can access a special rate of $100 per year (at the Family Membership level and above), and scholarships are available for families in need of financial assistance. The scholarship application is available here.
