HNH launches its newest theme for the Fall - Disease. On Thursday, September 19, we will look at this theme through the lens of plants, diving into what is commonly referred to as “Sudden Oak Death”. Phytophthora ramorum, the pathogen known to cause sudden oak death, will be explored by our expert guest Chris Lee, of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. Lee has researched sudden oak through the University of California and is currently the chair of the California Oak Mortality Task Force.
