Join us for a free iNaturalist tidepooling adventure! Led by one of the Museum’s naturalists, look for and document all the plants, animals, and seaweeds you can find in the beautiful Great Tidepool in Pacific Grove.

This is part of a statewide “Snapshot Cal Coast” program that keeps track of the beautiful biodiversity along our California coasts each year. This is a free, family-friendly event with a special tidepooling scavenger hunt for kids. To register for the event, click here.

The tidepooling event goes from 4:00 - 5:00 pm, as low tide will be at 4:37 pm. The Great Tidepool (map linked here) is just off Ocean View Ave in Pacific Grove and has excellent tidepooling. For questions, reach out to Johnston@PGMuseum.org.
