Explore the fascinating world of pollinators at our weekly Exploration Stations. This interactive space highlights the crucial roles these remarkable creatures play in our ecosystem. Discover the life cycle of monarch butterflies as they migrate thousands of miles, marvel at the diverse species of bees and their vital contributions to plant life, observe the agility and grace of hummingbirds, and learn about the incredible biodiversity of beetles. Engage with hands-on activities and informative displays that emphasize the importance of these pollinators in maintaining the balance of nature.

Exploration Station is a free weekly interactive learning space for guests of all ages to engage in hands-on exploration and discovery. Here at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, education comes alive, and children of all ages are encouraged to chase their curiosities and explore their interests. Children and their families, teachers, and other caregivers are all welcome to enjoy this special space. The majority of our activities are designed for children Preschool-8th grade, but we encourage people of all ages to explore our exhibits and experience the fun of learning.
