Junior Naturalists and Conservationists- Owl Pellet Dissections

  • 165 Forest Ave Pacific Grove, CA, 93950 United States (map)

Meet at the Museum

In October we will be doing owl pellet dissections! The PG Museum has several community science programs including - BLOY (Black Oystercatchers) monitoring program. This program consists of adult volunteers keeping an eye on pairs as they lay eggs to document what happens throughout the process. We will be exploring owl pellets to see what bones we find and working together to build the skeletons of what is inside.
